Performance review & goal setting

Encouraging and demanding: we set targeted development measures for all our employees based on their annual reviews. For employees not employed under the collective bargaining agreement, we also agree specific performance targets.

In principle, all employees are assessed once a year by their line manager. This focuses on their specialist expertise, knowledge, methodical and social competencies, self-competence and leadership skills. If the comparison between the job requirements and the employee's individual qualifications reveals a need for qualifying activities, development measures are jointly agreed, planned and carried out, taking into account the employee's individual potential.

For all employees not employed under the collective bargaining agreement, specific performance targets are set for each financial year. These include:

  • material goals (the achievement of certain work results),
  • development goals (the acquisition of certain skills or qualifications) and
  • management goals (for managers).
